Find a transaction, filter and search, fix a category, make a House Rule.
Find a transactionOpen Spend and scroll, or tap the magnifier at the top right and type a merchant name. Tap any row to see its date, account and category.Filters and search on SpendUse the chips under the tabs for the current month, the two months before it, This Quarter, This Year or Custom, and tap Filters to narrow by person, account or category.Add an expense by handTap Add in the toolbar on Spend, fill in the amount and what it was for, and tap Save. Use it for cash, or for anything your bank missed. The entry counts in your budgets, Insights and Wrapped like any other transaction.Change a transaction's categoryPress and hold a transaction on Spend, pick a new category, and Shayr applies it to every transaction from that merchant. On iPad, select the transaction and tap Change category.Make a House Rule from a transactionOn iPad, select a transaction and tap Make a House Rule. On iPhone there is no button on the transaction, so start from House Rules in the menu or from a Spending patterns finding. Either way the rule form opens empty or pre-filled by the pattern, not by the transaction.Tag whose swipe it wasTap a transaction, then pick a person or Together under Whose swipe?. The choice saves right away and teaches Shayr how your household spends.
