What Shayr can see, how linking works, reconnecting and deleting.

What Shayr can see and what it cannot doShayr can read balances and transactions from the accounts you link. It cannot move money, pay bills or change anything at your bank, and it never sees your bank username or password. What counts as a bank connectionA bank connection is one bank login that you linked through Plaid. One login with checking, savings and a mortgage under it counts as one connection, not three. Your household can have 3 connections on the trial, 7 on Bussin and 15 on GOAT.How linking a bank worksShayr uses Plaid to connect to banks. You pick your bank and sign in inside Plaid's own window, Plaid gives Shayr read only access, and your bank login never reaches Shayr.Reconnect a bankWhen a bank needs you to log in again, Shayr sends an alert titled Action Required: Reconnect Account. Tap it, or open Accounts, tap the three dots on the bank, choose Reconnect Account and sign in. Your history stays.Remove a bank accountOn Accounts, swipe the bank card to the left and tap Delete, or tap the three dots and Delete Account. Choose the accounts to remove and confirm. Their transactions and balance history are deleted from Shayr.Delete your dataShayr has no separate "delete my data but keep my account" button. You can remove bank accounts one at a time, delete budgets and goals yourself, or delete your whole account. To delete everything, see Delete your account.Delete your accountOpen Settings, then Personal Details, tap Delete Profile, then Delete My Account Now and confirm. Deletion is immediate and permanent, and it does not cancel your Apple subscription.Sign in and sign outShayr has no passwords. Enter your email and tap Send secure link, or use Apple or Google. To sign out, open the menu and tap Logout.
