Sign in and sign out
Shayr has no passwords. Enter your email and tap Send secure link, or use Apple or Google. To sign out, open the menu and tap Logout.
Steps
On the sign in screen, enter your email and tap Send secure link. The screen says Check your email.
Open the email titled Sign in to Shayr on the same phone and tap Sign me in securely. The link opens Shayr and signs you in.
Or tap the Google button, or the Apple button on iPhone and iPad, under Or Sign In with instead of using email. The same buttons are on the Create New Account screen, and they work the same there: if no account uses that email, Shayr creates one and starts your 14 day trial.
Sign out
Tap the menu icon, then Logout. Confirm with Logout. Shayr also removes this phone's notification token.
How long you stay signed in
Shayr renews your session quietly each time you open it, so using the app at least once a month keeps you signed in. If renewal fails, you return to the sign in screen.
The email link
The email says the link expires in 20 minutes. Use it soon after it arrives. There is no resend button. Go back and tap Send secure link again. See Sign in link not arriving.
