The sign in link did not arrive

Check your spam or junk folder for an email from Shayr titled Sign in to Shayr, make sure you typed the same email you signed up with, and request a new link. If it still does not come, sign in with Apple or Google.

Steps

  1. Look in Junk or Spam. The email comes from noreply@shayrapp.com with the title Sign in to Shayr.

  2. Check the address you typed for typos. An unknown email shows User not found. Please signup.

  3. Go back and tap Send secure link again. There is no resend button. Wait a minute before the second try.

  4. Open the link on the same phone where Shayr is installed. On another device it opens shayrapp.com instead of the app.

  5. Use the link soon. The email says it expires in 20 minutes.

  6. If you signed up with Apple's Hide My Email, the account email is a relay address, not your real one. Sign in with Apple instead.

Other ways in

Tap the Apple or Google button on the sign in screen. Both create or open your account without email. See Sign in and sign out.

If your mail provider filters

Add noreply@shayrapp.com to your contacts. Work addresses sometimes block automated mail.

Still nothing after 10 minutes? Write to us from another email and tell us the address you tried.

If something goes wrong

The link opens a web page, not the app.
Open the email on the phone where Shayr is installed, and tap the button there.
It says Invalid email link.
The link is used up or expired. Request a new one.
