What everyone in a household sees
Everyone in a household sees the same accounts, balances, transactions, budgets, goals and insights. Each person keeps their own sign in. The highest plan in the household applies to everyone.
Shared by everyone
- Accounts, balances, net worth and every transaction, including accounts other members linked.
- Budgets, goals, recurring bills and Insights. Anyone can create or edit budgets and goals.
- House Rules, Money Date notes and Wrapped.
- Exports and the data a connected assistant or Shayr AI reads.
Personal to each person
- Your sign in, profile, notification choices and AI consent.
- Your feed links, connected assistants and access tokens, which are GOAT and free trial features. Each person manages their own. They still read the household's data, and they work while the household has GOAT or a trial.
- Your own Shayr AI message count.
Plans
The household gets the highest plan any active member holds. One GOAT member makes everyone GOAT. A trial ranks below Bussin, so a Bussin member outranks a member who is still on a trial. If the person providing the highest plan leaves, the household falls to the next highest plan. A person who is covered by someone else's plan sees Your family is covered by [Name]'s plan on the Subscription screen and has nothing to pay.
Bank connections
The bank connection cap is per household, not per person: 3 on the trial, 7 on Bussin and 15 on GOAT. Every member's connections count toward it. See What counts as a bank connection.
Whose swipe
Anyone can tag a transaction with who paid, or as a shared expense. See Tag whose swipe it was.
See Account ownership for who can change what.
