Plans and limits
Every new account gets a 14 day free trial with no card. After that you need Bussin ($2.99 a month) or GOAT ($5.99 a month), billed through Apple, with annual billing at $29.99 and $49.99. Bank connections are capped per household at 3 on the trial, 7 on Bussin and 15 on GOAT.

Bank connections
The cap counts bank connections for the whole household, not accounts. One bank login with checking, savings and a mortgage under it is one connection. See What counts as a bank connection. A plan that has lapsed cannot add new connections.
Households
A household uses the highest plan any active member has, so one GOAT member makes everyone GOAT. A trial ranks below Bussin, so if one member has Bussin and another is on a trial, the household gets Bussin, not the trial's extras. AI message counts stay per person. See What everyone sees.
If your plan goes down
A downgrade takes effect at the end of the period you paid for. When a plan drops below a feature, your data stays. The feature locks and shows an upgrade prompt. Existing Google Sheets feed links and personal access tokens stop answering, and Claude is refused, until the plan covers them again. You can still list and turn off links and tokens, and disconnect apps, on any plan. Connected banks above the new cap stay connected, but you cannot add new ones until you are under the cap or upgrade. For example, a GOAT household with 12 connections that moves to Bussin keeps all 12 and cannot add a thirteenth.
When a trial ends with no plan
The app shows Your trial has ended over everything. It cannot be dismissed. It offers Bussin, GOAT or Sign out. Your data is locked until you subscribe, but nothing is deleted. You can still open a 7 day cash flow forecast, but you cannot add bank connections.
Shayr disconnects your connected banks, and nothing else. The app tells you the exact date, for example in 5 days, on October 25, on the trial ended screen and in Manage Subscription. The date is 5 days after the trial ends. Your login, accounts, transactions, budgets, goals and history stay in Shayr. Shayr does not delete your account because a plan ended.
After that date your banks show a Disconnected label with their last balance. To pick up where you left off, subscribe, then tap Reconnect and sign in to the bank again. Linking the same bank again reattaches your saved history. Disconnected banks do not count toward your bank connection limit. See Reconnect a bank. If you want your data gone, see Delete your data.
The Shayr AI screens still contain old daily wording, such as Daily Limit Reached. The limit is monthly, as in the table. A fix is planned.
